                               The Wadi

As the wind blowed against my skin a ton of ups and downs came into view. I started to see it the wadi. As the dust cleared from my eyes I heard a voice. My  friend Nadia said "Does this trail ever end"  and that woke me up from my daydreaming.

Nadia was right we had been walking for soo long my legs started to ache.
Finally when we reached our destination and sat down. We sat on rocks ,who knows they could have been be corals. Mr.Bill started talking about how the Wadi was created EROSION. Yes thats it. Most of the wadi was created by water erosion. But where did all thet  water come from to make this creation????

Mr.Bill can scientifically prove that the wadi was an OCEAN!!!! He found fossils of sea creatures isnt that enough proof???? Anyway what do you think about this whole adventure????????

Experiment one:Water Erosion

                                                            Question

What happens to land when water flows over it?????

                          Hypothesis:

I think that the land with the water flowing on it will  get deeper and deeper beacause the water will take the sand with to the cause of presure

                               Materials:

The materials we used were, the stream table, clay, sand, science sand, ruler, bucket, plastic cup, and water

                                      Procedure:

                                      Observation:

                                   After

                                      Conclusions

I learned that the water takes the land with it

Laila The Scientist

My name is Laila. My favorite topic in science is life science. This is my favorite topic because you get to learn about so many different plants, animals, and all the special things about them.Until now my favorite thing in science that we have took so far is probably the biome project, because when i was working with a close friend it made me feel confident about my work, we were pushing each other up and encouraging each other. personally if i was to grow up and become a scientist i think that my job would be a astrologist. This is because I would really love to learn more about our solar system and the things in it. Some strenghs that i have that help me in science class is knowing the meaning of what someone is talking about like i understand and I can get the  most important things out of it. A skill that i need to work on that slows everything down is stress.I really need to work on that.
